Daiļrade Koks Ltd. plans to restore a furniture production site in Tukums and increases its group capacity

Daiļrade Koks Ltd. has established a daughter company Tukumu mēbeles Ltd. and bailed out a furniture production site from Swedbank.

Tukumu mēbeles Ltd. is a start up and it was incorporated by Daiļrade Koks Ltd. at the end of August this year. Since then it has bailed form Swedbank out a former furniture production site in Tukums and now declared its ambitions to increase production volumes in 2012 by 3 mln LVL (4.2 mln Euro). According to Andris Jansons, CEO of Tukumu mēbeles Ltd., the company plans to recruit new employees form mid November on, and then start the production of solid wood furniture as a main product line by widening its range to curved-glued furniture as well. Daiļrade Koks Ltd. plans to finish this year with a turnover 9.2-9.4 mln lats (approx. 13 mln euro).
